1. Your townie friends comment that they almost got jumped coming to visit because they cut into the ferry line.
2. You have more cars in your yard than one person needs yet you take the transit because none of them drive.
3. You know the precise time to leave home to catch the ferry.
4. You remember laughing at townies who would climb into their friends car trunk to avoid ferry fare; when you could have told them passengers get off island for free.
5. You know the real reason it’s nickname is “THE ROCK”.
6. You know you’re an Islander when…. Your power goes out more than you do! [Hat tip for this reader submission]
